Youth Choir Psalms 98:6 " With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King."  Uniontown's Junior choir is made up of local youth from the Free Union and surrounding communities. Church membership is not a requirement to participate. Participation is open to any youth that would like to sing, compose, speak publicly or just learning to sing. The youth choir provides young vocalist and instrumentalist an opportunity to explore their interest in music and other art forms, in a wholesome environment. During Sunday services when the youth choir performs, the youth participants conduct most order of service duties such as welcomes, invocations, and other public speaking opportunities. On some occasion, the church assembly is graced with solos, poems, short plays, and narratives. When the participants were asked what they liked about the youth choir the answers were various, such as, I like being with my friends, I like trying out my voice to see what notes I can hit, I like to try different ways to harmonize, I like the beauty of harmony. Some see singing as a way of expressing themselves and a love of family and church. Others have suspicions of destiny and feel they would like to sing professionally or compose for others.
