Eastern NC and VA Midyear Assembly
Assembly Notice Please share the following with your congregation. Our Eastern NC and VA Midyear Assembly will meet on Saturday and Sunday, May 28-29 at the Roper Headquarters Building. The service will begin at 10 AM each day. Saturday, Bishop Daniel Gilliam will preach. Sunday, Vice Bishop William Collins will preach. We are to enter through the double doors at the front of the building. Those who use the wheelchair or walkers will use the ramp to enter the building. We will follow Covid protocol. Your temperature will be checked. Wear masks throughout the service each day. Maintain six feet distance. Families are allowed to sit together. We will not receive any offerings or serve food. NC DHHS COVID-19 6 ACTIONS FOR FAITH LEADERS TO RESPOND TO COVID-19 NCDHHS RECOGNIZES THE POWERFUL ROLE FAITH LEADERS PLAY IN OUR COMMUNITIES AND CONGREGATIONS. 2. Keep your congregation and faith community informed about COVID-19 vaccines and prevention.
3. Become a vaccine ambassador.
4. Follow NCDHHS guidance for places of worship to protect your community. 5. Urge your congregation to get tested for COVID-19 if they have symptoms. 6. Help connect people to resources and supports. |
