Meet The Deacons of Uniontown
   
The primary focus of the Ministry of Deacons is to live a life
of dedication and service to the principles set forth by Christ.
Each must develop a close personal relationship with our
Lord and savior Jesus Christ.  They are dedicated to service
and assisting the pastor of the church whenever possible.  
The Deacons also take an active leadership role in church affairs.   
They encourage unity, fellowship and conformity to

The Mothers' Board of Uniontown Church

     The Members of the Mothers' Board are highly respected older women who help support and nurture
      younger women  of the church.  Members of the Mothers' Board hold appointed positions.
      They are mature seasoned women of God. Their spiritual duties and responsibilities are varied and include:

                          ·Praying for the salvation of mankind, leading unsaved souls to Christ. 
 
                          ·Living a life worth of example, for future generations.
 
                          ·Praying for and supporting the work of our Pastor, Leaders, Ministries, and all Congregants.
 
                          ·Teaching younger women the ways of the Lord and serving as  good examples. (Titus 2:3-8)
 
                          ·Imparting wisdom to others.
 
                          ·Assisting with the preparations of Communion.

     These are women of faith, devoted and committed to the prosperity and well-being of Uniontown Church.  
     They are guided by the Word of God and sound doctrine as outlined in the Book of Titus chapters 1-4.

Elder Teddy Keyes


  
 Elder Keyes started his journey of service to the church at his father’s knee.
His dad, Deacon Joe Keyes was one of the pioneers of the Uniontown Church.
 
Elder Teddy Keyes preached his first sermon, entitled “God's Insurance”, January 12, 2020.
 
Elder Teddy is married to Shelia Bell Keyes.  She has been a minister for over thirty years.
They have two children. Their son is an educator, and their daughter is a college student, looking forward to graduation..
 
Elder Keyes retired from The North Carolina Department of Transportation with 30 years of creditable service.

 Trustee  Randy James serves as A Trustee for Uniontown Church.
He takes his duties very seriously.  He hep manage and care for the facility and grounds.  He also helps with many other duties at and around Uniontown.  He uses his wisdom to ensure the care and best use of the resources that God has given the
church
.

We the ushers at Uniontown, are devoted to our ministerial work. We readily acknowledge all efforts are team efforts. If we have even neared our goals, it is because of the grace of God. We endeavor to make every guest feel welcome. Please know, Uniontown, holds each of you in the highest esteem.

Uniontown's Pastor's Refuge Ministry provide on-going support to Pastor Gregory Boston and all members of the first family. They take on a detailed list of duties including prayer, encouragement and other actions that show love and gratitude to the pastoral family.
 
 These dedicated Disciples of Christ, assist our pastor and his family with various needs in a moral, spiritual, trustworthy, compassionate manner. 
 
They track special dates and events. They also plan activities that help the pastor complete his mission and goals for the church.  The group also coordinate travel for the first family, and manage the pastor's speaking engagements and his  attendance schedule.  Their duties are myriad.
 
Our Goal and Joy :
To assist our pastor, with the resources needed, to serve God, the Church  and the community at large.
